My name is Dawn Meadows Dixon
Dawn Meadows Dixon is an Emmy Award winning writer, producer and photographer for her work on a 2019 documentary Back to China. She has also received 6 more regional Emmy nominations. She is a freelancer for HECTV in St. Louis and contributes to a weekly magazine show produced once a week. She just finished a 25 minute documentary featuring a pro life group that is working to save babies in front of abortion clinics stopping woman as they go in providing them with help to keep their baby. She feels writing and producing this documentary called a Life’s Journey was a gift straight from Heaven. With over 30 years of experience in television, radio and video production as a writer, producer, interviewer and on-air talent. worked as a reporter/producer on an entertainment show for STL/TV in St. Louis, Missouri where she reviewed films and interviewed film stars. Dawn has also worked as a film critic on Relevant Radio one of the largest Catholic networks in the country. Dawn Meadows Dixon was a film critic for the Frank O. Pinion Show on KTRS radio in St. Louis, Missouri and hosted her own radio talk show in St. Louis on 1380 AM The Woman covering not only entertainment, but local and world affairs. She has also worked as a film critic contributor on KPLR-TV and as well as KTVI-TV in St. Louis. For many years Dawn worked as an Entertainment reporter for KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Missouri as well as at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio interviewing some of the biggest names in Hollywood. She is also one of the founding members of the Broadcast Film Critics Association which holds the Critic’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles every year. She feel the Lord has given her the gift of storytelling and uses it where ever she can and whenever to give him glory and and further the Kingdom. Her cause has always been Life.
